We may not see an end to institutional and structural racism in our lifetimes, but we can tear down these structures, brick by brick, if we join together to raise our awareness, plan, take action, evaluate, and gather more information. We can only be successful if we do this together, with others who share the same orientation, definitions, and principles.
The Organizing Against Racism network facilitates anti-racist conversations and events in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Our goal is an inclusive, loving and meaningful community respectful of diverse viewpoints. We seek to be a light of hope and beacon of knowledge for those seeking to better understand the role played in our daily lives by race and racism. We hope to understand racism’s impact on our shared humanity, and to advocate for better outcomes for all of us.
